I was in Canada last weekend and I saw this store at a mall selling make-up and -- you guessed it -- nail polish. I don't remember the name of the store (sorry), but they were selling OPI, China Glaze, Essie, Color Club, Funky Fingers, and KleanKolors, among others. I have a few OPI and several China Glazes, but I don't have any of the others. I decided to give the KleanKolors and Color Club polishes a try, especially since the store was having a sidewalk sale. Aaaargghhh!
I picked up three KleanKolors glitter polishes that caught my eye. They were selling for 3 for $10.00, with an additional 20% discount. :D I had to resist the urge to buy every polish that I liked, since I do have a budget to stick to.
I also picked up a boxed set of Color Club's Glitter Vixen Collection, which was released by Color Club in Fall 2008. Granted, it was several seasons old, but at $9.99 for a box of seven different glitter polishes, the price can't be beat! I actually bought it for the holo glitter (Magic Attraction). No more 20% off on this set, though.
As soon as I got home, I swatched the purple on my nail, and it was pure love. The glitter was very dense, I loved how it covered my nail. The sane part of my brain was telling me it will be a pain to remove later, but I figured, I would not be wearing it everyday, so...
So, a few hours later, my husband and I found ourselves back at the store (still does not remember the name), and I bought the two other boxed sets that they had available. So much for sticking to my budget. :\ But so, so happy nonetheless, with the new polishes. Twenty-four polishes for $40.00. Comes to $1.66 plus tax per polish. Yay! No more new polishes for the next few weeks.
Swatches to follow.
Thank you for reading and have a great day!
